A very long week. Still, we here on 1646 are alive, awake, alert, and enthusiastic. Sweet.
Down in the shop, the guys are testing a possible idea for knocking the ball off of the overpass. I was down there a few minutes ago, and it seemed to be going as planned except for a few grumbligns for more supplies. I think they are taking a trip to Rural King soon. Whatever floats their boat, I guess. ( A water game would have been so cool, speaking of which.)
The programming guys are busy writing code, figuring out hybrid mode, and doing something with a battery which I am guessing has something to do with testing the code. I hear the drive going (although going rather shakily if itwas to be judged by sound alone) so at least something must be succeeding.
Coach Howell is with us today. He's trying to avoid the oreos sitting on the desk. I was as well, but I gave in to the beckoning of America's favorite cookie. Considering that the box is almost empty, I think the rest of the team gave in as well. Hopefully we don't all become insanely fat. That would be a great misfortune.
We only have a few guys here today. Maybe 14 and myself. I am the only girl in attendence. These things happen. I hardly mind. That's less people to be infected by my cough. Meh.
Today we have our first volunteer mother of the season bringing us free homemade food. I'm excited. She just happens to be mine. Yay. I love my mummy. I love her food. It's so nice that parents are supportive. I think they like being invovled anyway.
We have about 5 weeks left, people. Let's make this FIRST season first rate! (Ha ha.)
