"If you're not first, you're last" - Ricky Bobby's dad (Taladega Nights)

Michael Diaz is a freshman at Lafayette Jeff and a freshman on Team 1646. He is a member of the Drive Train subteam and is very excited for the competition in Atlanta. He is planning to attend Purdue University and already is showing school spirit for the ol' gold and black, even though his favorite color is red.

He describes himself as amazing, beautiful and fantabulistic. I would venture to say that he is a wordsmith as well. He has a strong hatred for asparagus because "they make your pee smell funny". He spends his free time playing video games and has the goal of flying for a major airline.

Nate Vanderwaal is a third year member of Precision Guessworks and plans to attend Purdue University after graduation. He enjoys the competitions over all. He is a member of the Drive Train subteam and also works with Mechanisms.

He describes himself as "the coolest person ever" and he feels that sharks are almost as cool as himself. His favorite holiday is his birthday. He is not a big fan of sushi because anything raw seems like a bad idea. He enjoys BMX, paintball and robotics and plans on becoming a mechanical engineer. His favorite colors are blue and green.

He plans to fight global warming by buying a really big coat.

Teddy is a freshman at Purdue University, hailing from Fort Wayne, and a first year member of Precision Guessworks. He is studying Computer Science and Management with the goal of one day designing onscreen User Interfaces for applications or systems. His current schedule of 17 credit hours, working for the Purdue Exponent and still attending 20 hours of FIRST meetings a week keep him constantly busy. He is the IT mentor for our team and has redesigned the entire website along with assisting the PR subteam. He is normally sitting off by himself working on the website in some degree, but his presence is always known being that his leadership styles rival those of a facist regime. He is also a sarcastic son of a gun, by the way.

He can be described by three words - sarcastic, tired, and self motivated. Whenever he can find the time he enjoys sleeping and the ocassional game of Halo 3, but this semester hasn't seen much time for either.

He despises Peas, but can't seem to find a reason why. He is a big fan of Thanksgiving, but only because he enjoys the fall. His favorite color used to be red, but he is growing more partial to old gold and black as the days progress.
