Precision Guessworks 1646 has been a part of FIRST for four years. During our rookie year, we began late in build season with only ten days to build and eleven students to do the job. Somehow, we won the Rookie All-Star Award at the Boilermaker Regional and Highest Seeded Rookie Award at the Midwest Regional.

With these awards, we made our way to Nationals. With one year under our belts, we were ready to take on another season. More students joined the team as we began to reach out to the community with fundraisers and events and compete with a greater vengeance. At the Buckeye Regional, our alliance placed third, and then at Nationals, we were chosen to be in the division Championship.

In our third season, we experienced a slump. Our robot experienced technical difficulties, and we did not win any awards. However, our relationship with our community improved; the team grew; and we all became more and more dedicated to FIRST.

We are preparing to face another season of competition and fun. FIRST is offering more opportunities than anyone of Precision Guessworks could ever dream. Good luck to all the teams this season!
