"Quite the opposite" - Kristofer Lindquist is a freshman at Purdue University studying Mechanical Engineering. He is from Edina, Minnesota and is doing 18 credit hours in addition to being a vocal part of Team 1646. He is new to the team, but not to FIRST, and he is excited to be a mentor after being a student for so long.
He's so far enjoyed learning how to use a lathe the most. He is a member of the Drive Train subteam and is leader along with Kyle Love. He describes himself as Swedish, tall and awesome. He loves polar bears because they are good swimmers and can survive midwestern winters. On the same track as winter, Kristofer enjoys Christmas. He gets physically sick from peppers, but doesn't specify what type. Like a polar bear, he enjoys swimming, but he also enjoys skiing and video games. He is hoping for a global ice age so that he can get in some more skiing. His love of the water may be a factor in his favorite color being blue, but he says its because of the color of the sweedish flag. He wants to take his degree back home and work on robotics in Minnesota. |

"I wanna go fast" - Ricky Bobby (Taladega Nights) Kyle Love is a legend when it comes to Indiana Robotics. He hails from Kokomo, Indiana - home of the Technokats and the Andy-Mark World HQ (where he happens to work). After being the student for years, Kyle has changed roles and is now a mentor as a Purdue Freshman. He is majoring in Tech Ed and already is an assistant in the department in addition to his own 17 credit hours.
His passion has always been drivebase construction and again this is what he looks forward to most. Of course, he is the lead on the Drive Train subteam. He still enjoys FIRST and robotics just as much if not more than when he first got involved, but in his downtime he enjoys playing Halo, but he enjoys paintball more.
In three words, Kyle is rambunctious, non-precise, and a "hillbilly-rigger". He favors Penguins and enjoys Festivus. He hates cranberries, though he eats them on occassion. He plans to take his experience and degree and teach technology after getting a doctorate in education. Why? So he can be Doctor Love. |

" I bleed Gold and Black." Teddy is a freshman at Purdue University, hailing from Fort Wayne, and a first year member of Precision Guessworks. He is studying Computer Science and Management with the goal of one day designing onscreen User Interfaces for applications or systems. His current schedule of 17 credit hours, working for the Purdue Exponent and still attending 20 hours of FIRST meetings a week keep him constantly busy. He is the IT mentor for our team and has redesigned the entire website along with assisting the PR subteam. He is normally sitting off by himself working on the website in some degree, but his presence is always known being that his leadership styles rival those of a facist regime. He is also a sarcastic son of a gun, by the way. He can be described by three words - sarcastic, tired, and self motivated. Whenever he can find the time he enjoys sleeping and the ocassional game of Halo 3, but this semester hasn't seen much time for either. He despises Peas, but can't seem to find a reason why. He is a big fan of Thanksgiving, but only because he enjoys the fall. His favorite color used to be red, but he is growing more partial to old gold and black as the days progress. |
